Go:puja means worshiping a cow (Go:ma:tha) along with her calf. Performing Go:puja removes hardships and brings peace and happiness. It is considered equivalent to circumambulating the Earth, reciting Vedas, and worshiping Lord Vishnu.

 

What Happens in Go:Pooja

  • A traditional Go Pooja is performed in your name and Gotranama respectfully.

  • Vedic chants by learned priests sanctify the space, invoking divine energies deeply.

  • Archana is offered with your sankalpa, invoking deities for blessings and grace.

  • Offerings to Gau Mata include flowers, haldi, kumkum, and sacred devotional items.

  • Aarti is performed with devotion, waving lamps before the cow while devotional songs are sung.

  • Aarti is performed reverently, lamps waved before the cow with bhajans.

  • The entire ritual is done in a serene, sattvic, and pure environment.
