Worshipping Cow – The Mother Figure for All Beings

Cow is the mother figure of all beings. Hence Vedas placed the Cow on high pedestal and recommended to worship her. JIVA Gosala strives to safeguard the existing native breeds of cows. Out of 72 breeds, only 26 are available now in the country. JIVA Gosala is putting all efforts to save the existing ones. On occasion of Kanuma, supporters and devotees came to Gosala and did go:puja. It has been mentioned that praying to Native Cows removes all hindrances and blesses them with prosperity. HH Devanattha Jeeyar Swamiji came and fed the cows and did go:puja. The volunteers felt happy and elated absorbing the positive energy in the gosala and promised to do their part in saving the cows.
